Founded in 1964, the Rocky Mountain Propane Association represents propane marketers and related businesses throughout the state. RMPA maintains its core principles of education, safety and training to promote high standards of practice in the propane industry and to help its members compete in the energy marketplace.

Overall propane costs for fleet vehicles typically range from 5 percent to 30 percent less than conventional or reformulated gasoline. Many states offer fuel tax incentives to encourage the use of clean fuels, thus further reducing operating costs.
