>> Distributed Power Generation

High energy prices and power shortages encourage consumers to seek cost-effective alternative sourcfuel cell house with borderes for heat and power.  Distributed power generation technologies are decentralized energy systems that offer consumers reliable sources for heat and power that lower energy costs and reduce emissions while expanding the propane industry’s share in energy markets and balancing off-season demand.

Through the Propane Education & Research Council, the propane industry is investing in the development, demonstration, and commercialization of propane-fueled generator sets, fuel cells, and micro-turbines.
