Idaho LP-Gas Specialty course
This 120 hour online/correspondence course is approved by the State of Idaho to meet the requirements for licensing as a Liquefied Petroleum Gas Specialty Journeyman and covers the following:
- International Fuel Gas & Mechanical Code
- Idaho HVAC Administrative Rules
- Introduction to Blueprints
- Gas Heating Controls & Troubleshooting
- Residential Heat Load Calculations
Weekly lessons begin online in mid-January, 2010 and continue through mid-June, 2010. The Final Exam will be proctored and given at 6 locations statewide during approximately the week of June 13, 2010.
Idaho LP-Gas Specialty Certification will be awarded by the Division of Building Safety upon successful completion of the course.
PERC funds will reimburse 50% of the class registration fee upon successful completion of the course.
